Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Poetry drop

A highlight of our Book Week was when all the children delivered poems to families on our estate - our 'Poetry Drop'. These were very gratefully received by residents; many emailed the school to relay their thanks and delight having read and enjoyed their poems.

You can see examples of some of the lovely messages below:

Please thank CeCe for her lovely poem 'Spring Is Here'. It brightened my day to read such a joyful verse. The handwriting was beautiful and very easy to read. The pictures of smiling flowers and colourful butterflies made me smile.
