Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

We were extremely proud to have held the first Trust Primary Debating event at Holborough Lakes last week. On 27th April the Yr 5 children took part in a fun-filled sports event at Holmesdale School. Three other schools attended which made for a competitive day. P.T.A.

The PTA at Holborough Lakes is made up of parent volunteers who actively run events at the school to raise money to purchase items that will enhance and benefit the children’s’ school experience.

We liaise regularly with teachers to discuss the needs of the school and, so far, the PTA has purchased picnic tables and benches for the children, football goals, shading, gardening equipment, books, library furniture and much more.

We are always looking for volunteers to help out at our school events such as discos and the summer fete, so if you would like to be added to our list of helpers, or would like to join, please let one of us know! We also welcome new ideas for fundraising.
