Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Spaceship crash landing!

Year 1 and 2 had fun investigating an unusual event on the playground. On arrival at school, the children discovered that a spaceship had crash landed! Not only had one of our benches been upturned but we discovered lots of pieces of a control panel scattered across the field.

We used binoculars to look at the sky and magnifying glasses to examine the broken ‘bits and pieces’ on the floor When we returned to the classroom we noticed yellow footprints across the room What could it all mean? We then read our new book all about a friendly
little creature called Beegu who was lost on Earth.
