Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Outdoor Learning Environment

At VIPS Holborough Lakes we are keen to ensure our learning environment extends to our outside space. Our pupils have access to a trim trail, sensory garden, playground with markings and a large field. We promote outdoor activities and are proud to offer a gardening club providing the pupils with key skills.

We have applied to take part in 'The Innocent Big Grow'. This project will provide pupils with an insight into where our fruits and vegetables come from. They will have the opportunity to grow fruit and vegetables in school and possibly cook with them once they are grown. For more information about this project please click here.
