Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

School Games GOLD!

Valley Invicta Primary School at Holborough Lakes has been awarded the School Games GOLD award for their PE and sports provision.

The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community.

We are extremely proud of our pupils for their dedication to all aspects of school sport, and we are very grateful to all those who have been involved in making our sports events and competitions possible.

As part of our application, we were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs, and we are pleased that the hard work of everyone at our school has been rewarded.
