Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Ceramics Workshop

On Friday, a group of Year 3 pupils visited Valley Park School to participate in an exciting
ceramic workshop. They learnt about Greek pottery before using a slab technique to create their own Greek pots.

The children used a range of tools and learnt key skills during the workshop including casting slip, coiling and pinching. When their pots have been fired in the kiln and glazed, they will be returned to VIPS Holborough Lakes to be proudly displayed
in the KS2 corridor.

Thank you to Miss Sheehan for taking the children to this event.
