Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Science Week

We are celebrating Science Week in school this week.

The week began with a visit from Lord Shaftesbury from the Victorian times, who said that Victorian scientists were responsible for many of the things we know today. The children agreed with him , but were quick to point out things we have learnt since the Victorian times.

This week will also see visits from the Fizz Pop science company, Invicta Grammar School and guest speakers in school.

We will end the week celebrating all the children's fantastic work at our in school science fair, where the children will be showcasing their work to each other.
