Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Warburtons Virtual visit

Year 3 and 4 were lucky to experience a virtual session with Warburtons, on Friday.

The ladies visited Owl Class last year and made sandwiches with them. This time, they gave us some fascinating history about the company, shared the healthy eating plate and then made some bread dough, live on screen.

They crafted a duck-shaped roll as requested by Pollyanna - a first for these ladies! In true Blue Peter style, they had some rolls they'd made earlier - this has inspired us to make our own bread.

The children were beautifully behaved; the ladies emailed to say that they can't wait to come and work with us in school again.

Well done Lower Key Stage 2!
