Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Positivity!

Greetings,

One thing that that we have seen all over the world is that kindness is prevailing in uncertain times. People are coming together to sing on balconies in Italy and others are setting up groups to offer support to the elderly and vulnerable – like collecting groceries or calling for a chat.

Blog 1

I have been overwhelmed by the positive messages that parents have been sharing with teachers via the Class Dojo platform.  Teachers are pleased to be able to communicate with their class and are uploading humorous posts. One example of this is Miss Fassnidge sharing some interesting facts about her dog! I think by the end of this, we will all know each other a little bit more!

Well done to Bethany who is working hard to consolidate her phonics. Please keep uploading pictures and I look forward to hearing about the children learning new life skills, such as making a sandwich, tying their shoelaces or learning to tell the time.
