Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Primary Literacy Challenge

Four Year 5 pupils have visited Invicta Grammar School last week to participate in the ‘Primary Literacy Challenge’ against other primary schools from the area, and came third!


The girls who attended said they ‘loved that they all had an opportunity to use their skills and show their creativity’. Kaitlyn loved the writing section, Reanna love the synonyms section, Niamh loved the speaking part and Yananai loved unscrambling words in ‘Boggle’.

It was a fantastic day and the girls enjoyed the experience of spending a day at a secondary school, they all used the skills and knowledge that they have learnt from Holborough Lakes to work alongside the other primary schools.
