Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

£318.39 raised for Macmillan!

We are delighted that a fantastic £318.39 was raised from our Macmillan coffee morning today!

It was followed by a ‘book share’ around school where parents and carers were invited to go to the classrooms and share a book. Many older siblings also read to their younger siblings and Year 6 children scattered around the school to read with the EYFS or younger KS1 children.  

It was a fantastic event despite the very wet weather!
