Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Amazing artwork!

Keen artists from years 3, 4 and 5 have really enjoyed working on this exciting multimedia project. They used gross motor skills (to music!) and a variety of mark-making resources to create colourful A1 sheets, then ripped them up and used them to prepare a striking background.

Online tutorials helped us learn how to use a range of oil pastel colours to create a graduated ombre effect for the huge eyes. The children carefully painted expressive lines with Indian ink to bring the features of the animals and birds together. They were delighted with the overall effect!
