Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Lullingstone trip

On Friday, the children from Years 3 and 4 experienced an amazing trip to Lullingstone Roman Villa to link in with their topic of Romans.

At Lullingstone Roman Villa they saw the remains of a Roman Villa and discovered a mosaic that had been hidden for almost 2000 years. The children then had the opportunity to make their own mosaic as well as becoming archaeologists They used brushes to uncover hidden pieces and pieced a roman picture back together.

Zara from Year 3 said, "I found it fascinating. I can't believe I got to see the remains of a Roman villa from almost 2000 years ago!“
