Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Team Building Event

Last week Year 6 enjoyed a team building event after school, as part of their end of primary school activity week. The children had a fantastic time learning communication and teamwork skills.

The afternoon began with a pairs scavenger hunt, where children had to find a variety of items. Mr Tom and Mr Filewod demonstrated two pioneering projects to teach the children how to make a tripod and then lash two poles together.

The evening finished with communication and team work games; making a circle using each other for support. We also enjoyed a BBQ with roasted marshmallows. It was a great evening, well done everyone!
