Specialist Resource Provision Teacher - Full-time
We are seeking to recruit an effective individual to join our successful and dedicated team of ASD specialist staff.
Our schools have an established specialist resource provision, where children make excellent progress and achieve highly. We are looking for a person who has the skills, and ambition to enable specific pupils to accomplish their learning and personal targets.
Working across the school, with the support of SRP and mainstream staff, the role is suited to someone with a sense of purpose, a positive outlook and attitude, and a passion for helping children be the best that they can be.
The Specialist Resource Provision Teacher will work closely with the Headteacher and teachers in the school to lead the effective provision for children within the Specialist Resourced Provision and lead the development of collaborative whole school practices around SEN.
What we are looking for:
- Proven ability to support pupils with ASD effectively through the use of dynamic & engaging techniques.
- The ability to work with a team in a responsive and flexible manner, responding to the instruction and advice of the Lead Teacher.
- Ability to reflect, adapt and see solutions in own practice.
- The use of independent initiative when supporting pupils.
- To share ideas for the adjustment of learning to enable pupils to access the learning effectively.
- To build effective trusting relationships with parents, pupils and staff.
- A willingness and interest in using CPD to further develop career.
