Pupils plant trees given by Woodland Trust
Forty saplings have been planted by Holborough Lakes pupils as part of an ongoing project to enhance our outdoor space.
The trees were donated to the school by the Woodland Trust who run a scheme to provide free trees to schools and communities so that everyone has the chance to plant a tree.
The children really enjoyed planting these saplings by the boundary at the back of the school grounds - they are currently covered, to protect them in the cold weather, but they're growing well and showing new buds.
We are looking froward to further enhancing our outdooor area in the coming months.
