Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Champions League Football

On Monday 9 October, ten of our year 5 and 6 footballers took part in the Under 11s Boys Champions League Tournament at the Gallagher Stadium, Maidstone alongside 36 other schools.

Our first match was against Treetops Primary, and we won 4 – 0. We then played a match against Tiger Primary where we drew 1 – 1. Our third match resulted in us winning 1 – 0 against VIPS Leybourne Chase. Our fourth and fifth matches against West Borough Primary School and VIPS Eastborough were 1 – 1 draws.

An amazing start to the day, resulting in us qualifying for the final stages, the last 16 schools!

Unfortunately, during the final knockout stages, we were defeated 2 – 0 by The Discovery School.

What an amazing day. The children worked hard and did the school proud. Congratulations!
