Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Remembrance service

Years 5 and 6 presented our Remembrance Service on Friday 11th November.

Our special guests were the Mayor of Tonbridge and Malling, Cllr Sue Bell and her consort, Mr David Bell, Patrick Tootal OBE and Reverend Danielle.

The children explained the history of Remembrance, recited poems and shared our plans to create a beautiful Memory Garden in our school grounds. Patrick shared his incredible life-story which was fascinating and very moving. He also explained how he wishes to donate a Memory Rose to our garden.

The event was very well supported by families who praised the children for stepping up and understanding the importance of the message of Remembrance.
