Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Books recommended by our pupils!

For the second Primary Weekly Challenge, we asked our pupils to tell us about their favourite, recently-read book.

We've had some great suggestions. Maybe you could give one of these a try!

Lexi recommends 'It’s OK to be Different' by Sharon Purtill. It's illustrated by Sujata Saha. Lexi said: “I love the pictures in this book.” 

Aleksander likes 'The story of Titanic for children' by Joe Fullman. He said: "This book contains a lot of interesting facts about Titanic and has some fantastic illustrations."
