Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Virtual Harvest Festival

What a wonderful Virtual Harvest Festival assembly we have had on 8 October!

Even though we were unfortunately unable to attend Christ Church Snodland, the children had great fun learning about Harvest.

Penguin Class used the word 'Harvest' to create new words, whilst Panda Class enjoyed learning about Magic Beans. Dolphin Class enjoyed researching Harvest around the world and Owl Class created superb oil pastel pictures of fruit and vegetables. Tiger Class wrote their own acrostic poems, whilst Meerkat class learnt facts about Harvest. Alpaca Class thoroughly enjoyed exploring the different fruit and vegetables that get harvested around the world, creating a prayer of thanks.
