'Good' rating from Ofsted!
Valley Invicta Primary School at Holborough Lakes is very happy to announce it has been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted following an inspection on 3 and 4 October 2018.
Head Teacher, Lisa Vickers, said: “We are delighted to have received a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted after the very first inspection of our school. This result reflects the ongoing hard work of all our pupils, parents, governors, and, of course, our wonderful team of staff. We are very proud of the way in which the report comments that ‘Pupils’ behaviour is good. They are proud of their school, cooperate well with each other and understand the school’s high expectations'.”
The report states that senior leaders’ effective work is having a significant impact on raising standards, and that Valley Invicta Academies Trust provides effective support to the school. Further to this, the report highlights that ‘pupils feel safe and happy at the school and are well looked after. They say it is a kind and content school’.
Julie Derrick, Joint CEO of Valley Invicta Academies Trust (VIAT), said: “I am so proud of everyone at the school and the Trust, who have worked tirelessly to provide the very best for our pupils since Valley Invicta Primary School at Holborough Lakes opened in 2015. This Ofsted report gives us strong foundations on which to build in the future and clear goals to aim for. We are all very excited about moving forward on our journey to Outstanding.”
